Construction company Cabral & Carvalho works primarily in the south of France and Portugal. Having been inactive in Portugal for some time, they are now back with some major luxury projects in Vale do Lobo. As their business grew, they thought it was time to rebrand (especially since their logo was designed for Microsoft Windows...).
They wanted something sleek and contemporary. Also, they wanted to subtly convey their planning and building work through the logo. I chose the shape of a square, which is typical of construction blueprints, for this. Since the majority of their work entails creating private residences, they loved the concept of a house-shaped logo. I chose extremely simple typefaces and styles, but I also utilized a more intricate icon for the & to provide a touch of elegance.
